
Distinguished Achievement Award in Energy Engineering and Fuel Science
Guangwei Huang is a dedicated and accomplished professional in fuel science and in the clean energy industry. With more than thirty-five years of experience, he has managed numerous multimillion-dollar projects focused on improving fuel efficiencies, advancing clean energy, and mitigating the impacts of climate change. Huang earned his Ph.D. in fuel science from Penn State in 1990. He graduated as valedictorian from Dalian Technology University, Dalian, China, in 1982 with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering, receiving the president’s award.
Currently, Huang is the CEO of HJI Group Corporation, a consulting company he co-founded with his wife, Ms. Hong Jiang, in 1992. HJI provides engineering and project management services globally for energy, environmental, and infrastructure sectors.
